Gentle communities
I work with you on building strategies to identify and activate place-based or virtual communities. This might include: drawing communities towards common goals; helping people who are assembling for the first time to develop pro-social behaviours and governance; uncover shared values, embark on vision-setting; or build capacity for collaboration and innovation.
Gentle ambitions
I assist with strategy development and implementation by supporting your new or redefined ambitions. This might include: exploring emergent opportunities and then narrowing focus; translating broad objectives into actionable, measurable plans; embedding regenerative behaviours; identifying and building partnerships and networks.
Gentle interventions
I work with you to develop and manage programmes or campaigns that activate leverage points for change (social or intersecting social/environmental). This might include: systems mapping, qualitative research (desktop and primary research), strategic planning, programme management, communications or digital strategy or stakeholder management.
About me
I have 15+ years of experience in a global consulting environment, primarily at Accenture, and have a Masters in Regenerative Economics from Schumacher College. I have led large global programmes and dynamic, multidisciplinary teams. I have expertise across social innovation, sustainability, human-centred design, strategic communications, and digital product management. I am passionate about helping to repair impacts on climate, society and natural ecosystems; enabling people to feel that they can make change; and joining others in creating a future where humanity stops breaching social and ecological limits.And, I am raising a toddler. As she explores her world, I noticed myself guiding her as all parents do, saying: “Gently... be very careful with that [insert delicate being or object.]” Interacting gently is one of the first lessons we teach, yet we seem to have abandoned it as adults in our own orientations towards the world. In a society of high pace, progress and production, can we be more aware and gentle? Can our communities and businesses consistently choose the most caring, least harmful, action?How I can help
